Alright, does anyone out there have a garden this year?   hello hellowww  hellllllooooooo???

We havent had a garden since way before the children were born, many many years ago (who has time for that anymore?)  and the last time we had one we lived at a feedlot, im tellin ya the land was fertile! lol we had a very productive garden.  ok that was 20 years ago, since then i have only grown a couple tomato and green pepper plants.  BUT.........

THIS YEAR........  OMG what was i thinking....

The ground here is like clay, HARD, the water here is short... HA! we have ran out in the well a couple of times since we moved in (three months ago), guess its not very deep or some dumb thing... so not like i can just water to my hearts content and then still expect to get a shower, and it NEVER rains here, whats up with that anyway?  That brings me to another thought... this yard is just FILLED with trees and tons of lilac bushes, we had some small dry lilacs earlier, but never rain and a freeze after they started blooming, i hope next year is better, i would love to see them in full boom and smell them too!  our ones at our other house always bloomed for a long period of time...

If ever there could be a bigger procrastinator?  I think its because i have lost all my thoughts! :-)  Everytime i sit down at the computer to start one of these my mind goes blank.  I have been a member here for.... i cant even remember, at least a month, if not two and am just now getting around to my first post.   I will try to do better!

First is my Biggest news!  which some of you from CC already know, last weekend we soap box raced at our local to see who qualifies to go to nationals, 2 years ago trevor got 3rd, last year he got 2nd, well this year........ he got 8th... i have NO clue what was up with that,  other then we havent got to race as much this summer so far, BUT... thats ok, my nephew, who is a 2nd year racer took FIRST in stock division and gets to go to Akron Ohio for nationals, SO SO SO exciting!!!!  I'm pretty sure this is trevors last year, and that would have been his last race beacuse he doesnt fit in his car and because car and driver can only weigh 230 (he barely makes it now, i dont know how he can do it next year, but if he can i say... Go For It!)

And ....... I'm Lost!!!  lol if you can imagine?

do i have to read to learn? never was much good with instructions you know.. HA

but learning i love to do!  so.... teach me, er... i mean... do i havta teach myself? Im scared! lol
